In The Paradine Case, a lesser known film by director Alfred Hitchcock, a barrister is hired to defend Mrs. Paradine when she is accused of killing her wealthy, older husband. Charles Laughton, Gregory Peck and Alida Valli star. It’s a little long, it might seem to drag on a bit but the actors more than make up for this and the plot is fascinating enough that it’s worth a second look.
